Palindrome (translated from Greek - running back) is a word or verse that can be read equally from left to right and from right to left. Boris Goldstein noted in one of his interviews that Blok attached a special, mystical meaning to the poem “The Twelve”, around which is still being debated: is it for the revolution or against it. The author made an attempt to study the poem with the help of palindromes as refined tools of versification, trying to convey meaning, sound, rhythms and meters in all parts of the poem. A gust of wind runs through the entire poem. At the same time, the word itself dictates the meaning.
