Srila Vamsidasa Babaji Maharaja was a great Vaishnava saint who lived in Navadvipa in the first half of the twentieth century. His behavior was so unusual that in a country with a different culture, where people were less spiritually enlightened than in India, he would almost certainly have been considered crazy. Although he was physically in this world, he had little contact with it. He was about one hundred and eighty centimeters tall and had a very strong build. He did not cut his hair or beard, which was always tangled and disheveled, and he never washed. His eyes seemed crazy. He wore only a loincloth and nothing more. This book introduces us to a personality so extraordinary and sublime that all we can do is simply bow before him and beg him to shower his grace on us.
