My name is Toviy Baevsky. I was born in 1962 in the city of Sverdlovsk. I graduated with honors from the Sverdlovsk State Medical Institute. He worked in hospitals and clinics in Sverdlovsk and Leningrad. In 1991 he moved to Israel. In the first year after his arrival, he studied Hebrew, while simultaneously working as a laborer, painter, tractor driver, electrician's assistant, bread factory worker, Herbalife distributor, and car gas station attendant. After taking courses to prepare for the medical license exam, I passed the exam and after 3 months received a scholarship from the Ministry of Health. He was accepted into the therapeutic department of the large state hospital “Assaf Arofeh”. After six months of work, he received a position as a doctor in the emergency room of the same hospital, where he worked for about a year. Simultaneously He began working as a doctor in the emergency resuscitation team, where he continued to work for 5 years, already being a family doctor. Then he received a position as a resident in the therapeutic department, specializing in internal medicine for two years. During this time, he was called up for military training several times, took a course for military doctors and, having received the rank of lieutenant, and then medical captain. service, I continue to serve as a military physician for a month each year at various bases of the Israeli army. I gradually realized that working in a hospital as a therapist does not attract me, since the main content of this work is the rapid assembly line repair of sick organisms, without taking into account the fact that, in addition to the organism, the patient also has a personality. After two years of work in therapy, he transferred to specialization in family medicine. While completing the specialization program and studying to become a family doctor, he worked for several months at the Schneider Children's Hospital, in the orthopedic department of the Hasharon Hospital, the skin department of the Beilinson Hospital, the Gaia Psychiatric Hospital, and was on duty in the reception area rest of the Ma'ayanei Ishua Hospital, worked in the clinic of the Clalit Health Insurance Fund. After completing a full 4-year course of specialization, I passed the qualifying exams and in April 2000 received the title of Family Practice Specialist. Now I work as a family doctor. at a health insurance fund, for the last three years I have been in charge of a clinic, while at the same time I am engaged in private practice as a family doctor. I have completed a number of advanced training courses and professional seminars. In addition, I am involved in science, I publish in scientific journals and speak at medical conferences. I am married and have two sons and a daughter. My wife is a certified tour guide and conducts excursions around Israel for Russian-speaking tourists. In my free time, which is sorely lacking, I write notes about working as a doctor and answer questions from site visitors. I wrote a series of notes about Israel and its medicine, which were widely distributed on the Internet. They were published in the Moshkov library and in almost fifty other electronic libraries, as well as in the journal of the Kruger Medical Center and in the Vesti newspaper.
