The Third Company of the Order of the Dark Angels opposes the Orc invasion of Piscina, believing that the threat is minimal. The number of the enemy continues to increase, but the commander of the third company, Captain Belial, insists that the company is able to resist the Orcs. However, sergeant scout Naaman knows how dangerous this enemy can be, the renewed offensive of the Orcs catches the Dark Angels by surprise, green-skinned by a huge crowd moving towards the port of Cadillacs. The Dark Angels know virtually nothing about the technology available to xenos, and the real scale of the threat they face. Belial, Naaman, and their brothers Astartes lead a desperate siege at Cadillacs, knowing that they must hold out until imperial reinforcements arrive, otherwise the planet will be lost.
