Yun Fosse (born 1959) is known in Norway primarily as a novelist and playwright, and the playwright is very successful: his plays are staged not only in Scandinavia, but throughout Europe. However, Fosse also has a “poetic hypostasis”: he has published several poetry collections. From them it can be seen that the poet has favorite poetic forms - so, he clearly gravitates to the tenth century. Fosse's poetry is the poetry of the look, when the poet seeks to give the reader a visual image, limiting it to "objectivizing" and "removing" reflection and personal commentary from the text. These poems are similar in some ways to engravings where there are no semitones - only black and white, but at the same time there is a strong emotional charge.
