Zorich Anastasia Antonovna was born in Odessa, in the family of a sailor. She graduated from the Faculty of Philology of Odessa University and the Literary Institute named after. A. M. Gorky. She worked in newspaper editorial offices, in book publishing houses, and was a radio journalist. She is the author of the novels “The Sea Captain”, “I Believe You, Farid”, “Come as a Friend into My Home”, “Not Just a Fair Wind...”, “Meetings... Separations...”, “And Kindness Remains”, “Red Marble” , “The Bitter Orange Fruit”, “What to Call Them?”, stories for children “Iliyka”, “The Surf Never Stops”, “The Adventures of Little Kikikao”, a number of other stories and collections of stories. Anastasia Antonovna Zorich is a member of the Union of Writers of the USSR.
