The largest English writer, subtle thinker, public figure, publicist, doctor of medicine and doctor of law Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle (1859–1930) is known throughout the world as an unsurpassed master of detective and adventure genres. However, a huge layer of his literary heritage consists of stories that are not included in any of the official cycles. historical, detective, adventure, fantastic, stories of love, cunning scams, amazing coincidences, sea misadventures ... There are also those where a variety of topics and genres are mixed. Each such story is a small masterpiece, not inferior to the most famous works of the master. In the present, we can say a unique edition, presents primarily selected stories of the writer, collected in a colorful, multi-colored mosaic, diverse and, however, giving a great idea of his bright talent. Also included in this edition are the so-called "apocrypha" - works at different times attributed to the pen of Conan Doyle, not inferior, however, in virtuosic performance to the writer himself. In addition, here are collected and the works on which we grew up, namely everything that was written about the great detective from Baker Street - from classic novels to short stories. In addition to the works belonging to the pen of the author himself, this edition also includes stories about cases from Holmes' practice, which Dr. Watson only mentioned. These stories of the "father-creator" of the best detectives was going, but did not have time to write - and their son Adrian Conan Doyle and the famous master of English detective John Dixon Carr wrote them.
