Harry Harrison (19252012) was an American science fiction writer and editor. From under his pen came a lot of works, mostly humorous, in which there are quite serious topics. This is a writer who needs no introduction! In the constellation of world fiction, he is truly a star of the first magnitude. The leitmotif of his books was a protest against the army, wars, authoritarianism, violence to dissenting and predatory aspirations. Most of his characters are individualists, bright personalities who do not hesitate to violate the law in the name of some of their ideals, but at the same time do not feel hatred even for their most irreconcilable opponents.
