The goals are different. Some are easily given even to novice shooters, others will resist the most experienced, if that does not smile luck. Chiter is fine and accurate, and Fortune is on his side. He has all the makings of a winner, and the winners don't miss out. However, his main goal is not one where everything is solved by one successful shot. It is somewhere far in the west, and this is bad, because it means that he will have to overcome the boundaries between the regions more than once - the most unpleasant locations of the Continent. Even experienced immune there is nothing more than funny meat, and a daring newcomer to them not even get close. But it is alone, and with an experienced friend a lot is simplified. Unless, of course, this is a real friend, and not a thoroughly incomprehensible type who can instantly abandon you just because you did not fulfill his task at the appointed time.
