The scientific and methodological manual presents modern scientific data of foreign laboratories on the main aspects of the organization of the training process and competitive activities of highly qualified athletes and the reserve of national teams in swimming. The main attention of foreign researchers is paid to biomechanical characteristics of movement techniques, medical and biological support and technical equipment.
