The monograph presents the results of a study of the problem of disability of the population of Russia. Describes the current state of the conceptual and legal basis of research in this area, the scale and economic losses due to disability. On the basis of sociological research, the relations of society and people with disabilities are studied, primarily from the position of readiness for integration. The leading mechanisms of inclusion of persons with disabilities in society are evaluated and the directions of solving the identified problems are proposed.
