The textbook is intended for undergraduate students in the discipline of "Foreign Language" and contains a learning technology aimed at developing foreign-language communicative competence of students. The main objectives of the manual are the formation and improvement of lexical and grammatical skills, the development of reading, speaking and writing skills in students. A specially selected lexical and grammatical minimum, original English texts and a developed system of exercises allow developing sociocultural and compensatory competence in unity with communicative competence. Structurally, the manual is represented by 10 lessons - modules and a grammar guide . All modules are built according to a single scheme. They allocate blocks of tasks, each of which solves its own problems: 1) introduction; 2) grammar; 3) vocabulary; 4) reading; 5) speaking; 6) additional material for reading on the topic of the module .
