Tasks for independent work are designed primarily for university students studying at the Institute of Information Technology, Mathematics and Mechanics . This textbook corresponds to the program of the course "Thermodynamics" in the direction of training 010302 "Applied mathematics and computer science" and takes into account the specifics of the training of students. The manual presents: the basic laws and formulas in the amount sufficient to solve problems, examples of solving typical problems; control questions and tasks for securing the material and self-checking . In a brief application, in addition to mathematical formulas, the basic physical constants and parameters necessary for solving problems are given.
