The workshop on the culture of speech communication is aimed at mastering the system of representations about the relationship of language, history and culture of the people, about the functioning and place of culture in society, the national and cultural specifics of the language studied and their country. develop ideas about the language system as a holistic, historically developed functional education, the social nature of language, the role of language in society ; practically master the system of foreign languages studied and the principles of its functioning in relation to various spheres of speech communication ; understand the peculiarities of interpersonal and mass communication, speech impact ; to form and develop skills and abilities of the main speech forms of utterance: narrative, description, reasoning. The aim pursued by the author of the manual is to form and develop the skills and abilities of students on the basis of a practical Spanish language course and in conjunction with a practical Spanish translation course. The acquisition of communicative competence is carried out in accordance with the basic provisions of the theory of speech activity and communication . Language material is considered as a means of implementing the appropriate type of speech activity, its selection uses a functional and communicative approach, and the entire course of Spanish is communicatively oriented.
