This book is a collection of documentary materials relating to the death of C. A. Yesenin and kept in the State Museum of the History of Russian Literature . In. and . The history of the acquisition and existence of such documents as the Case No. 89 on the suicide of the poet Sergei Alexandrovich Yesenin, posthumous photographs of Yesenin made by M. is described. C. Nappelbaum, W. In. Presnyakov and N. A. Shcherbakov, and the furnishings of the fifth room of the Angleter Hotel, made by V. In. Presnyakov . These documents served as material for checking the version of suicide. The conclusions obtained as a result of their scrupulous analysis allow us to conclude that they are more in favor of the version of murder than the suicide of the poet. The collection also includes reviews of some books on the death of Yesenin, a bibliography of literature on the death of C. A. Yesenin for 1989-2021 and floor plan of the hotel "Angleter" .
