The book covers the heroic struggle of the working people of Soviet Ukraine under the leadership of the Communist Party for the revival of the national economy, the implementation of socialist industrialization, the collectivization of agriculture, and the cultural revolution. The struggle of the working people of Western Ukrainian lands against social oppression, for reunification with Soviet Ukraine is shown. The materials of the volume convincingly testify that only in the fraternal family of the peoples of the Soviet Union did the Ukrainian people achieve genuine freedom from social and national oppression, strengthen socialist statehood and build a socialist society.
