The hero of the story Shamil Shakshakbayev is a teacher by education, an athlete, a person who defeated an evil fate. Without legs and hands, he became a successful businessman, and most importantly, he created and headed a boarding school for children with musculoskeletal disorders. As you know, children with disabilities spend their whole lives as outcasts in four walls, torn from any life, and as adults, exist on meager benefits. Our hero destroys this well-established public stereotype: “If I have learned to fight for a full life, I have become a popular person in society, then I can and should teach this to children as well.” He got these kids to go to regular schools with regular kids. With his own money, he bought a complex of production workshops where children receive the profession they need in life. In the story, the tragic personal life and the fate of the hero are connected with the fate of his main business.
