The collection of texts “Reading in Russian” is compiled on the material of Russian and Soviet fiction and journalism in accordance with the program in Russian for foreign students of non-philological universities. This collection is a textbook and is recommended for foreign medical students of the third, fourth courses . It includes artistic texts about doctors . The authors of the collection kept the originality of the author's text as much as possible . Adaptation is made through the line of abbreviations of texts and some replacement of individual, especially difficult for students to perceive words and phrases. Poetic works are included without change. Many texts are provided with comments, post-text tasks.
