In the book “Gold of the Gods. Aliens Among Us" Erich von Däniken continues the theme of his previous books "Return to the Stars", "The Presence of Aliens", as well as the film "Memories of the Future", in which the writer develops his own hypothesis of the origin of man and human civilization. Daniken is convinced that man owes his appearance on Earth to humanoid astronauts from distant planets, who flew to Earth in prehistoric times and left many traces of their presence here. In the book “Gold of the Gods,” Daniken talks about these traces. He includes among them a mysterious labyrinth that stretches deep underground for many kilometers in Peru and Ecuador, ancient structures of unknown origin in Brazil, New Zealand, Polynesia, many ancient texts on small plates, drawings and carvings of mysterious content. The author also analyzes the most ancient myths and legends of different peoples and finds much in common in them, confirming his hypothesis.
