This tutorial introduces students to the basic terminology in German on the topic of marketing, presents the main provisions of the modern marketing concept. On the basis of training texts, the main areas of marketing activities are considered , on the basis of the original texts of the modern German press, the prerequisites and conditions of successful entrepreneurial activity of young enterprises in the German market are analyzed as well as the reasons for entrepreneurial failures in the light of the modern marketing concept. This manual is intended for students of economic specialties. The manual aims to develop the skills of translating educational and authentic texts on this topic, and also contributes to the development of oral speaking skills on the topic of marketing activities, advertising, the creation of a new enterprise, advertising processing, features of the negotiation process. A system of lexical-grammatical and communicative exercises has been developed for the texts, which allow activating the special vocabulary proposed by the texts and actively using it in oral speech.
