The textbook deals with the structural organization of computer memory, its hierarchical structure and basic elements are given. Much attention is paid to the principles and methods of organizing RAM based on block structures. The principles and methods of building associative and cache memory, their features and possible implementation options. are discussed. Methods of organization of virtual memory (page, segment-page organization) are considered. Special attention is paid to methods and methods of protection of RAM (hardware and software). Software methods and means of information protection in computers are considered. The training manual is intended for students of all forms of education in directions 09. 03. 01 "Computer Science and Technology" and 09. 03. 04 "Software Engineering" .
