This short miniature is a parody of the film “The Princess on the Beans” - a Russian-Ukrainian lyrical melodrama of 1997, directed by Villen Novak. This is a fairy tale, and if it suddenly happens from the USSR - 7 days the impossible is possible - the dreams of freedom of all free-at-heart “entrepreneurs” of the USSR came true as a wonderful dream, but this “Through the Looking Glass” of 1988 is the dashing 90s. Well, isn’t this a terrible and stupid USSR dream - the 90s of the bygone 20th century?!.. Let’s wake up!
