The proposed guidelines for the calculation and design of chain conveyors are intended for students of all forms of education studying the discipline of "Intra-factory transport" . The guidelines consider the basics of calculation and design, as well as structural elements and nodes of various types of chain conveyors of enterprises of the timber industry complex carrying out transportation of bulk and piece goods ; Examples of calculation of chain conveyors are given, accompanied by the necessary reference material. The purpose of the guidelines is to assist students in mastering the knowledge acquired in the course and the ability to independently perform engineering calculations of this group of transporting machines.
