The inhabitants of Mars are hardy, intelligent, and require little food. Previously, they were slaves of earthlings. Millionaire Riorden flew to Mars to hunt intelligent game, the Martian warrior Krieg. The earthling caught and strangled Kriga, but he himself was forced to go into suspended animation until the police arrived: Kriga broke the oxygen hose on his spacesuit. But the Martians are able to survive without air for a long time, so Kriga soon woke up and took revenge on Riorden.
