The monograph is a scientific work that presents the results of a study of the propagation and instability of surface waves in a magnetic fluid with cylindrical section surfaces surrounding a homogeneous porous core. a heterogeneous (layered) core consisting of an internal solid cylinder and a coaxially arranged porous cylindrical shell, in a uniform magnetic field, as well as in a magnetic field of a finite radius solenoid. The monograph also presents the results of the study of the instability and destruction of the gas jet in the magnetic fluid in the applied magnetic field.
