The handbook covers all the major sections of modern physics and mostly corresponds to the physics program for aces, but it in no way replaces the systematic course of physics. When selecting material for the handbook, the task was set to explain in more detail the physics issues that have become relevant in recent years. Therefore, certain sections of the elementary course are briefly or completely omitted. while questions of atomic and nuclear physics, zone theory of crystals and semiconductors and some others are set out in more detail. The last section (ten) contains a description of the various systems of units used in physics, as well as tables with universal constants. The book is provided with a subject index.
