The book is devoted to the description of numerical methods in gas dynamics, the implementation of which on the computer borders on the computational experiment. The main focus is on the development and research of the method of large particles. The analysis of numerous stationary and non-stationary problems of aerodynamics, solved with its help, is carried out. They study transonic currents, diffraction problems, streams in the near track behind a moving body, currents in the presence of a “blow” of the jet into the main stream, etc. ; attempt to numerically describe the class of turbulent motions.
