In 1999, Mahaon published three books about the adventures of the boy detective Leroy Brown, nicknamed “Encyclopedia” from the small provincial American town of Idahoville (translated by Oleg Georgievich Bitov; books are available on the Internet in the public domain). The author of these books is the American writer Donald J. Sable. During his life, among many other works, he wrote about 30 books about the adventures of the Encyclopedia Brown. What Mahaon has released are collections of stories taken from different books. You are offered the third book in this series as it first came out of print. Some of the stories were included in various "Mahaon" collections .. Others are translated into Russian for the first time.
