The author, in his next book, with his characteristic slight irony, shares his impressions of today's France. Documentary notes quite convincingly transport the reader into the atmosphere of both modern Paris and the southern French province. The author does not shy away from describing historical facts, natural anomalies and the intricacies of local life, especially in comparison with Russian ones. In the stated documentary, as you read, you can see its unobtrusive development into an artistic and journalistic analysis of the interaction between the French state and the individual, the authorities and the people as a whole. Which, however, gives the book additional value and charm. Notes, if you read them to the end, can not only leave an impression, but also play a positive role in the future fate of the reader. At the very least, France can become the first in the line of countries he would like to visit.
