Stiller (1954) is a novel about a man who does not want to be himself. The novel is written in a non-traditional manner .. There is no consistently unfolding action, it is as if there is no minimum order. "Stiller" is a note (as well as some other novels by Frisch), this manner was loved by the author, since a sincere person can only be with himself to the end. Life, according to Frisch, is the collision of a person with his own role and resistance to it.
