It's been eight years since the Clone Wars devastated the galaxy. The Republic ceased to exist, and in its place is dominated by the Empire. All power is in the hands of the Emperor, the secret Sith lord, who, along with a disciple, the powerful Darth Vader, wields the galaxy undividedly, using the resources of the giant imperial war machine. Any dissent is suppressed, and only memories remain of freedom - all in the name of peace and order. But here and there, the centers of resistance begin to smite and flare up, and the hottest of them is the Free Ryloth movement led by Cham Sindulla .. After many small diversions against the imperial forces that control their planet, Cham and his fellow rebels make a risky attempt to strike the Empire a deadly blow and plunge it into chaos, striking at the heart of it. Their targets are Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader.
