The play "The Raven" (Il Corvo) is one of the ten world famous fairy tales for the theater Carlo Gozzi . At the premiere in Venice, this play withstood more than twenty performances, which at that time was a sign of unprecedented success. However, the further stage fate of this fairy tale is not so rich in bright productions. In 1948, in Venice, Giorgio Streler addressed this play at the beginning of his career. "The Raven" became a landmark play for two of the great Italian harlequins of the 20th century - Marcello Moretti and Feruccio Soleri . For the first, this play was an acting debut on the professional stage, the second performed in this play with a directorial debut.
