The Theology of Complementarity provides a detailed and comprehensive analysis of the relationship between Judaism and Christianity. The difference in the approaches of both religions is presented by the author not as a contradiction between them, but as an antinomic conjugation. In other words, the positions of Judaism and Christianity are seen not as mutually exclusive, but as implying each other. In practice, this means that Judaism and Christianity are able to see each other not as a refutation, but as a kind of confirmation of their own positions. In particular, the author tries to show that the preservation and maintenance of Judaism in its traditional forms is in the direct interests of Christianity; that missionary activity in relation to Judaism harms not only Israel, but also the Church, undermines its own foundations. The ideas outlined in the book can be recommended as a model and basis for building a positive relationship between the Jewish and Christian community.
