People live in enclaves and are in a difficult relationship with cyborg androids who defend their independence. People are led by the Immortals - a genetically modified elite with very peculiar tastes. Some of them are entertained with the help of the drug "Weld", trying to temporarily control the chimera, others are engaged in scientific projects to revive humanity or symbiosis with the new biosphere...
