The plot of "Jerusalem" is uncomplicated, under this external simplicity hides a wealth of artistic images, characters, human relations. People who are influenced by the words of a charismatic preacher who decided to go to live in the Holy Land are at the beginning of a much more difficult and long path the path to God and to themselves, on which the true “I” of each of them is revealed. But no matter how different, sometimes unexpected, motives would not encourage pilgrims to leave their native country, the outcome of their journey will be even more unpredictable. The questions raised in the novel are truly eternal, and the subtle literary form in which they are presented turns Jerusalem into a large-scale family saga, in the pages of which our contemporaries will find what concerns them.
