This collection includes works of both the early period of creativity of Albert Camus and his bright flowering both as a writer and philosopher. From the early essays of the “young rebel”, in which the philosophical and literary principles are intertwined in the most natural and refined way, and Camus is still only gradually groping for his unique “creative handwriting” to “The Myth of Sisyphus”, “The Outsider” and “Caligul”. To the ever-relevant, truly revolutionary works that turned the very way of thinking of intellectual youth of the 20th century and became the banner not only of existentialism, but also of nonconformism in general. Also included are Albert Camus' notebooks, dated May 1935 to February 1942.
