Notebooks ("Notebooks in-octavo"), in addition to diary diaries, contain excerpts from intended stories, aphorisms, fantastic scenes, landscapes, etc. These records provide an opportunity to once again look into the world created by the great Prajanin. In a series of small texts, the features of the Kafka world are no less expressive than in novels and novels. The appendix contains sketches for the novel Richard and Samuel, which was left unfinished, excerpts from the book by Felix Welch “Religion and humor in the life and work of Franz Kafka”, an essay by Natalie Sarrot “From Dostoevsky to Kafka” and an article by the graphologist J. Monno with Kafka's handwriting analysis.
