The book of memoirs is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Faculty of History and International Relations of Ryazan State University named after C. A. Esenina . The faculty, established in 1938, was one of the first structural units of the oldest higher educational institution in the Ryazan land. In 1957, it was transformed into the Faculty of History and Philology of the Pedagogical Institute ("Istfil"), and in 1968 - into the Faculty of History with an additional specialty "English" .. In 2002, the faculty opened a department of "international relations", in 2003 - "advertising" During the years of its existence in the Ryazan region, a scientific historical school . was created.
