This edition brings together twelve Cartier-Bresson interviews and talks dating back to the period from 1951 to 1998.[citation needed] They reveal Cartier-Bresson is fascinating and enthusiastic. He talks about photography, reflects on the state of the world, and looks back at the path he has traveled. These statements, relating to a period of time of almost half a century, also allow us to see the evolution of the photographer's thought: he returns to some topics, changes his point of view, sometimes contradicts himself.
