A few years before the Clone Wars break out, Jedi Master Jorus K'baot asks the Senate for support in one ambitious endeavor. Six Jedi masters, twelve knights and fifty thousand colonists will embark on a giant ship expedition to establish contact with intelligent races and colonize as yet undiscovered planets outside the galaxy. K'baot does not suspect that this large-scale enterprise is not just supported by the Senate, but is fully organized by the Sith lord Darth Sidious, who has his own views on the "Ultra-Long Flight".
