Christy, E. C. Gardner, R. Stout and J. D. Karra. Having agreed to help Howard Van Horne, Ellery finds himself embroiled in a chain of strange events that ended in a tragedy that Quinn will have to solve twice. This case refers to the so-called "rightsville cases" of Mr. Queen, and the chronology immediately precedes the "Cat with many tails".
