Henry Kuttner is known to the domestic reader primarily as a master of ironic fantastic storytelling. Many fell in love with the inimitable mutants of Hogben, as brilliant as the inventor Galleger and many other heroes who are fond of strong drinks, thanks in part to which the Golden Age of American fiction, in fact, became the “golden age”. But the literary fate of Kuttner was not linear at all, he published under many pseudonyms in journals of the most different thematic orientation. This collection includes works in the genres of mysticism and horror, which make up a significant part of his legacy. Even the very first Cuttner story that saw the light - "The Cemetery Rats" - is written in the Gothic style. The author was acquainted with the famous Howard Phillips Lovecraft, along with his wife, writer Catherine Moore, was in the “Lovecraft circle”, and novels relating to the universe of “Myths of Cthulhu” are also included in this book.
