The Phalanx, the great star fort of the Imperial Fists, along with the Space Paratroopers of half a dozen Orders, took on board the Inquisitors, Sisters of the Battle, and Adepts of the Cult of Mechanics. They came together to witness the end of the history of the once glorious and noble Order of the Cosmic Descent, the Soul-drinkers, and now the infested heretics and renegades of Chaos, who were put on trial for their crimes against the Imperium. But even such a concentration of righteous power may not be enough to protect against the evil conceived by the dark forces that have come into motion.
