American physicist Richard Feynman one of the greatest scientists of the twentieth century, Nobel Prize winner in quantum electrodynamics At the time, the teachers of the California University of Technology thought about how it would be possible to rebuild the physics course to make it more entertaining and modern. Richard Feynman enthusiastically picked up on the idea and agreed to give the author a two-year course of lectures on general physics, but only once. The university, for which this event became historical, organized the recording of lectures, and then a team of physicists prepared a publication in several volumes, which is still considered one of the best introductory courses in physics.
