Mikhail Dyomin, real name Georgy Evgenyevich Trifonov (19261984), was a Russian writer, the son of a major Soviet military commander, and the cousin of the writer Yuri Trifonov .. In 1937, he lost his father, vagrant, during the Second World War after a two-year imprisonment served in the army; after the war, due to the threat of re-arrest, he hid in the criminal underground. In 1947, he was arrested and sentenced to six years in Siberian camps, followed by a three-year exile. After his release, he began to be published first in the Siberian, then in the central press, published four collections of poems and a book of prose. In 1968, he went to Paris and became the first non-returning writer. In the West, he published an autobiographical trilogy "Bladnaya", "Taiga tramp", "Red Devil" A lot has been written about political prisoners, but not about criminals.
