The Finnish writer Tove Jansson wrote and illustrated many tales about the wonderful inhabitants of the land of the Moomins. After her death in 2001, many writers, primarily from Finland, began to write continuations of stories about the Moomins, and artists began to illustrate them in the style of Jansson’s drawings.
