Ray Bradbury is a progressive American writer, author of fantastic and realistic works. He is one of those American science fiction writers who stand in their works on the side of humanity and peace. Many of his stories are in fact a warning, convincingly saying that in the capitalist world, the wrong, inhumane use of science can lead to self-destruction, to a war of extermination. Bradbury's works help the cause of peace. It is not for nothing that at home he is called the “fool of conscience of honest Americans” ..
