The Encyclopedic Dictionary "Modern Western Philosophy" is an expanded and radically revised edition of the dictionary of the same name, published in 1991 (Politizdat) and 1998 (TON-Ostojye) .. The book is divided into three parts: “Directions”, “Concepts” and “Personnel” The publication includes more than four hundred articles on various trends and personalities of Western European and American philosophy of the 20th century, as well as about two hundred and fifty articles explaining the meaning of individual concepts. The work on individual articles was attended mainly by employees of the IF RAS, as well as teachers and researchers of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Tbingen .. A number of articles were written by specialists from other universities in Russia, as well as from universities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland ..
