The traditional study of anatomy considers muscles outside the close relationship with other organs of the human body, their work is evaluated only in the interval of muscle attachment between two bones. Anatomic trains, by contrast, are based on the principle of universal connectivity of the fascial system. They expand our understanding of myofascial force propagation, as well as the beneficial and harmful effects that interrupted load propagation can have on injuries or pain. The book tells about functionally integrated, spread throughout the body continuous lines of the fascial web, which connect the head with the toes and form noticeable muscle-fascial "meridians" .. Stability, load, tension, fixation, postural reflexes all this spreads along the designated lines. Based on the meridian map, this book offers manual therapists and physiotherapists a host of new comprehensive strategies for influencing the human body that will help restore and improve posture and relieve patients from acute and chronic types of pain.
