This paper examines the mechanisms of adaptations at the biochemical level to different salinity in osmoregulations (homoyosmotic animals) and osmoconformers (poikilosmotic animals) . The information presented in the monograph summarizes the data available in the literature and its own experimental data on the participation of the lipid composition in the adaptations of homoiosmotic animals to the change in the salinity of sea water.
